From the Forst- und Köhlerhof, head north along the Rodomschneidenschneise until you reach the Meyershausstellenschneide.
Then turn left and follow the Meyershausstellenschneise until the next junction to the right. Turn right and follow Rodomschneidenschneise further north.
After approx. 260 m, turn right and then left at the next junction and follow Priesterpfortenschneise. After approx. 600 m you will reach a crossroads. Keep right or straight ahead and walk to the next junction.
Turn right and follow the path for another 200 metres until you come to Beckers Weg. Turn right into Beckers Weg and stay here for 350 metres.
At the next junction, keep right and follow Mörderkuhlenweg for approx. 530 metres. Keep right and after approx. 120 m turn left towards Meyershausstellenschneise.
Follow this lane for 1.2 km until you reach the municipal forestry office in Wiethagen 9). Turn right here into Wiethäger Schneise. Walk along the RuheForst until you turn left into Hinrichshäger Schneise after approx. 870 metres.
Follow this path until you reach Hinrichshagen. Continue straight ahead to Graal-Müritzer-Straße. Cross the L22 and keep right. Shortly before leaving Hinrichshagen, turn left into Kuhschneise. Follow the Kuhschneise for just over 3 kilometres and it becomes the Stückenschneise. Turn left onto this road. Follow it for approx. 320 m and turn right onto the forest track. After just under 200 metres, keep left and follow the meadow path.
You reach the Heiligensee and Hütelmoor nature reserve via the meadow path.
After crossing the Prahmgraben, turn left and follow the path until you come to the Budentanneweg.
Keep right and walk towards StrandResort Markgrafenheide. Shortly before the entrance to StrandResort Markgrafenheide, turn left onto Dünenweg. Follow the Dünenweg until shortly before the beach entrance. Keep right along the dune and follow the path to the beach restaurant blaue boje.

Take the time to visit the forestry and charcoal burning farm in Wiethagen. In addition to the model park, the tar kilns and a sculpture trail, a fairytale forest also invites visitors of all ages to linger.

• A 20 motorway to Rostock junction, exit onto the A 19 towards Rostock
• A 19 motorway to exit 6-Rostock-Ost and continue on the B105 towards Rövershagen
• follow the signs to Rövershagen
• In Rövershagen, turn left onto Graal-Müritzer-Str. in the direction of Graal-Müritz/Hohe Düne
• after approx. 300 metres turn right onto Köhlerstrat
• then turn right onto Waldweg and immediately left again to the "Forst- und Köhlerhof" car park

Free parking spaces are available at the Forst-und Köhlerhof.

You can reach Forst- und Köhlerhof Wiethagen from Rostock main station (Rostock HBF) by regional trains and buses:

• RE9 in the direction of Sassnitz, get off at Rövershagen
• RB12 in the direction of Ribnitz-Damgarten-West, get off at Rövershagen
• Tram line 4 in the direction of Dierkower Allee, Change at Dierkower Kreuz to bus 118, get off at Rövershagen Schule

From the Rövershagen stop it is a walk of approx. 1.8 km (27 minutes) to the Forst- und Köhlerhof. From the Rövershagen Schule stop, it is approx. 1.6 km (24 minutes).
