IGA Park Rostock

The IGA Park is a beautiful landscape and recreation park covering around 100 hectares. With its extensive grounds, it invites you to unwind and switch off from stress. A walk through the park takes you past the Chinese and Japanese gardens, the long sandy beach with a water sports park and the Weidendom. The two-kilometre-long barefoot path and the fitness trail offer health-oriented exercise options. Or you can let off steam in a sporty and playful way in the centrally located ship arena with football, basketball or bouldering. The traditional ship Rostock, Germany's largest floating museum, invites you to visit the museum all year round. Numerous events such as live concerts, sporting events and open-air markets provide entertainment. Catering is provided by the WarnowHuus restaurant located in the park. Admission to the park is free.
